Like say if you were making sausage patties, a 1/3 pound sausage patty would be a little big for most people. Or if you would make the file available to make a replacement slide yourself by 3d printing or if you have the ability to fabricate out of cutting board material, ETC. I know that when I get one that I will have the slide to copy, but having the exact specifications would be great if there is no possibility of actually buying a different slide mold for it.

All you have to do is have a lip on the outside edges of the insert that fall down over the sides when the insert is in place. The slide mold can be fabricated with the same taper without any real difficulty.

Fill a 1, 2, or 5lb tube using your grinder w/stuffer plate. Each tube has a different diameter for your choice. Now when partially frozen cut to desired thickness by hand or slicer. Works just like the breakfast sausage you no longer buy

You would have to affix the spacers in a way that it would not fall out with the patty There is an upside down taper in the mold to drop the patty

Always focused on thickness. I still warn you the the stuffer will compress the meat like Salisbury steak. LEM Has a patty maker that fits most grinders. It’s fast and works well. 3/8 or 1/2” square patties. Does a great job but it’s a 2 person operation. It also does extruded snack sticks and jerky.

It can hang over the sides and drop into place to keep it from sliding out when the slider mold is in the maker.

I can smash them out when I cook them, I just really would like to be able to use the patty maker to make them consistent and faster than by hand.

Tip. Use your grinder with it. I fabricated a transition for my 25lb electric stuffer. Made the Patties easy and fast. Problem was that the meat was packed tighter than normal. Patties had the finished texture of Salisbury steak
