I’m only making 2lbs of jerky. Just received my Waltons Special Bold blend. Can I add the 1oz bag of sure cure to the bag, mix well and then measure for my small batch? I don’t see why it wouldn’t work out. Will it still store okay if it’s blended?  Thx.</p>

One thing I did was I went to the local supermarket and talked to the butcher. They gave me a baggie of  pink salt (they buy in bulk) just so I can have some on hand when I do small batches or mix my own seasoning blend. After use, I vac seal the rest until I need it again</p>
