Interesting…I was using this as the last reasonable excuse for not putting them directly into the water…Must be some of them that suck in the water and heat it as it circulates it. I am wondering if we should actually be calling it a circulator if it doesn’t circulate? I guess it sort of does since it propels water?

I’m thinking that must depend on the circulator??? The Weston I have has no filter. Just the heating element and propeller sits in the water.

If you are doing that you run the risk of clogging the filter of the circulator.
