I have a kid that will not eat chicken,yet will eat Tyson chicken pattys. I was wondering if I ground my own chicken what would be a good binder to use to help form the pattys so I can bread them.<br />

You could use sure gel but I think that might be a little bit of overkill honestly.</p>

Are you using breast or thighs?  If you are using breasts you might consider using some Cold Phosphate to percent it from drying out too much during cooking.  And speaking of cooking, I wouldn’t do it on the grates of a grill, either a skillet or a pan or something.   If you are using thighs there should be enough fat to help keep them together, though I would still probably use a skillet.</p>
