In fact you’ll get that cucumber after burp. Thin sliced red onion, some tomatoes, the cucumber, red wine vinegar mixed with raspberry preserves to make a vinaigrette is how I was introduced to them.

I wouldn’t hesitate to a little lemon and olive oil with fresh cracked pepper to those cucumbers.

However, now that I type that out vinegar and lemons have some commonality so maybe this isnt some elaborate trick by you and macsinsac to get me to eat something terrible!

The next year I grew them myself and loved them. I skipped the garden last year and forgot to plant them this year. They can be quite bountiful!

Not the best photo…it’s not as charred as it looks. Lol

So good! I love them with some onion and fresh dill and a quick vinaigrette.
