Wrapped and froze the Rib-Eyes, prepped the roast with rub for the smoker for tomorrow and vacuum sealed it, and put it in the fridge to rest.

I’m pretty much obsessed with food and restaurant equipment. lol

I’ve never actually been to any of the rodeo events but I can tell you that the bar scene at night is freaking crazy! The ‘Pendleton Round-Up’ is going on right now actually. I had to take my kid to the airport there on Tuesday and I was fearing the congestion…surprisingly there was none. Let er’ buck!

They are really growing in the West. I can buy the same primals at the Business Costco but they cost more. IBP is the supplier to both, they are also the supplier to Safeway.

I recently gained a second job at the new butcher shop here in town, ‘Butcher Butcher Walla Walla’. It’s the only place I currently shop for meat! We have truly remarkable product. It’s not inexpensive but it’s superb quality.

Make sure you get on there email list. You can learn when the different cuts hit the specials. I buy most of my primals there. I get my hams and ground beef and pork from Saars Markplace here only when its on sale.
