It is maple Habanero. I added 1 cup of brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of McCormick maple flavoring. I only smoked the snack sticks for 1 hour and the SS for 3 hours. Less smoke helps retain the maple flavor. In the past the smoke flavor has overcome the maple flavor. These turned out great. Sticks ans SS are from the same batch.

How much maple did you use? What was your base, was it a prepackaged from somewhere that was actually maple habanero? I’ve got some 100% pure maple syrup that I am going to add to some breakfast sausage here next week.

Looks like you got a good stuff on those, very little if any voids and still has some particle definition. All in all good looking summers, are the sticks the same?
